Professional Experience:

In 1984, Victoria A. McFadyen began practicing law in Atlanta, GA at a firm specializing in complex civil litigation (and criminal defense).   Ms. McFadyen assisted in wrongful death cases including a tire rim explosion and a severe injury case involving a tank car explosion.  Other cases involved serious injuries from motor vehicle, trucks, and other  highway collisions. 

In Florida, Ms. McFadyen clerked for the judges of the 16th Judicial Circuit for approximately 7-8 years.  During that time, Ms. McFadyen assisted in researching issues in many civil and criminal cases.

In 1998, Ms. McFadyen opened her own law office and accepts civil and criminal cases.  Ms. McFadyen has experience in litigation in family law, construction, real estate and tort cases.  For the past five years, Ms. McFadyen has concentrated on tort cases  including motor vehicle collisions, premises liability, and death cases. 

Ms. McFadyen is a Special Magistrate with the 16th Judicial Circuit.

 Mediation Fee

The fee is $ 300 per hour for the mediation conference with a minimum period of two (2) hours.  All parties are advised to bring with them a check, in blank, for mediation charges which are due at the conclusion of the mediation.  Checks are payable to V. McFadyen PA.  It is the responsibility of each attorney to make prior financial arrangements with their clients to pay the mediation cost.

If  you would like to submit a confidential mediation summary setting forth those factual, legal and “non-legal” issues which are important to you and/or your client, please feel free to do so.  In your summary it would be helpful to identify any areas of agreement and “how far apart” you are in those areas of disagreement.
